Request more storage for your organization

Supported editions for this feature: Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus. Compare your edition

If your organization is close to its storage limit, you have 5 or more users, and you have a supported edition, you can request more storage. Storage will be made available at Google’s discretion.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. In the Admin console, go to Menu and then Storage.
  3. At the top, click Get more storage.
  4. Click Request storage, acknowledge the information, and click Submit. If you don’t see this option, your organization doesn’t meet the requirements to request storage.

If your request is successful, it can take 48 hours for the storage to show in your Admin console storage page.

If your request is refused, you can buy more storage and consider ways to free up storage space, including moving content to Google Cloud Storage. For more details on Google Cloud Storage and migration tools from Google Drive to Google Cloud Storage, contact your account representative. Learn more about Google Cloud Storage.
