WordPress.com: Verify and Set up Google Workspace

If your domain’s website is hosted by WordPress.com, you can verify your domain and set up your Google Workspace email at the same time.

Why verify?

A Beginner's Guide to Signing up for Google Workspace

We don't want someone else to use your domain to sign up for Google Workspace. You can help us keep your domain safe by showing us that you are the owner.

How to verify

Step 1: Get your unique verification record
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. Click Continue to verify your domain with a TXT record.

  3. Look for your verification code in the setup tool and click Copy.

Step 2: Sign in to your domain host
  1. Leave the Google Admin console setup instructions open.
  2. In a new tab or browser window, open the the WordPress site.
  3. Enter the email address or username and password that you created when you purchased your domain from WordPress.
  4. Click Continue.

If you don’t know your account information, you can reset your password or recover your account.
