With Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO), you can manage all your Google Workspace calendars from Outlook, including your primary calendar, calendars you create, and calendars other people have shared with you. Most items in Outlook calendar work just as you're used to, but there are some differences you should be aware of.
Here's how we suggest you get started...
- Learn what's supported in Outlook calendar
Check out this overview of the Outlook features available when using GWSMO.
- View and manage your calendars
Learn how to manage which of your Google Workspace calendars are available in Outlook.
- Follow best practices for using Outlook calendar
Review features that GWSMO adds to Outlook, or that work differently.
- Set up sharing & delegation
Share your calendars with other Google Workspace users, and add calendars to Outlook that others have shared with you.
- Learn what's not supported in Outlook calendar
Check out which Outlook features aren't available with GWSMO or that don't work as you might be used to.
- Work with events in Outlook calendar
Review some miscellaneous (and mostly minor) differences in Outlook, when sending invitations, updating events, working with recurring events, or changing time zones.
Access your calendars from Google Calendar on the web, too! (This is handy when you're away from Outlook). GWSMO can synchronize all your events in Outlook with your Google Workspace account in the cloud, so you can manage your schedule from either interface. Synchronization occurs every 10 minutes, as well as every time you create an event or receive an invitation. Learn more
