If you haven't received your PIN, or it's been lost, you can request a replacement PIN. To make sure it has enough time to reach you, you'll need to wait 3 weeks after your last PIN was mailed before requesting a replacement.
Before you request a replacement PIN
Make sure your account information including your payment address is correct. If needed, you can change your payment address. In addition, we recommend you follow these tips:
- Use the same wording across all of your payment address fields.
- Confirm your address is recognized by your local post office.
- Verify with your mail service provider or post office that your mail is not being forwarded to another address.
Request a replacement PIN
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Payments, then Verification check.
- Under “Address verification", click Resend PIN.
We'll mail a new PIN to your payment address. If your original PIN arrives first, feel free to use it. The replacement PIN will be a duplicate of the original.
FAQ about the PIN mailing process
How long will it take for the PIN to arrive?
Mail PIN delivery is dependent on local postal service. Times will vary by region. The majority of mailed PINs are delivered within 3 weeks. If the publisher doesn’t receive the PIN letter in 3 weeks, they can request a replacement PIN.
Are there international mail centers Google will use to ensure mail is delivered quickly outside of the US?
Yes, the mail PIN operations are efficiently set up to ensure global delivery. There are printing facilities in every region of the world and additional printing facilities in some high priority countries.
Most importantly, publishers should provide a valid address where international standard mail can be delivered.
What are the requirements for the mailing address? Does it have to match the address that will be on their payment/tax info? Are PO boxes acceptable?
The address must be a valid physical address of the publisher.
PO boxes, mail forwarding services, and “virtual addresses” aren’t acceptable.
What will the envelope look like so we know what to look for?
PINs are printed on PIN mailers, which are white 4.5 x 6 inch (11.4 x 15.2 cm) postcards.
