SDK Bidding allows third-party buyers to buy your mobile app inventory and to render creatives in your app by using an SDK owned by the buyer (as opposed to using the GMA SDK).
Buyers are "off" by default.
Publishers need to do the following for each buyer they want to monetize with:
- Install the buyer's SDK in your mobile app.
- In Google Ad Manager, allow SDK Bidding, enable secure signals, and add ad unit mappings for the mobile inventory and formats you want to support.
After you've completed these steps, Ad Manager will send buyers the bid requests.
Due to the direct relationship between publishers and these buyers, default creative requirements for these buyers will be platform policies only (network policies and protections will be off). The majority of these buyers require ad unit mapping and receiving secure signals.

Pricing and protections
Pricing rules, including advertiser floor prices, apply to SDK Bidding.
Protections, including blocking rules, don't apply to SDK Bidding partners by default. Ad Manager doesn't currently support creative scanning for SDK bidders.
Reporting
Ad Manager reports display aggregated information about impressions and net revenue transacted through SDK Bidding. Ad Manager revenue can be broken down by demand channel, including "SDK Bidding," "Open Bidding," "Mediation," and more conventional "Ad Exchange" impressions. You can use the "Demand channel" dimension or filter in your report.
Additionally, the "Bidder" dimension can be used to break down revenue by SDK Bidding partner.
The metrics to use are the Total metrics, such as "Total CPM and CPC revenue." Since SDK Bidding partners are not part of yield groups, the metrics under the "Yield group" section can't be used.
