Ad Manager report dimension attributes

Display more details with dimension attributes. #Ad Manager reporting

The following dimensions have dimension attributes that display more detailed information about your campaigns.

Note that attributes display the current value of the dimension, not the value at ad serving.

Dimension attributes

Dimension Attribute
Ad unit (top level)
  • Ad unit code
    The ad unit code, used to identify the ad unit in Google Ad Manager ad tags.
  • Ad unit reward amount
    For rewarded ads, the set number of reward items the user receives from viewing the ad.
  • Ad unit reward type
    For rewarded ads, the set type of reward items the user receives from viewing the ad (for example, coins or extra lives).
Ad unit (all levels)
  • Ad unit code
    The ad unit code, used to identify the ad unit in Google Ad Manager ad tags.
  • Ad unit reward amount
    For rewarded ads, the set number of reward items the user receives from viewing the ad.
  • Ad unit reward type
    For rewarded ads, the set type of reward items the user receives from viewing the ad (for example, coins or extra lives).
Advertiser
  • Advertiser primary contact
    Name and email address of the contact assigned to an Advertiser company in Google Ad Manager.
  • Credit status
    The current credit state of the advertiser. Statuses may include Active, On hold, Credit stop, Inactive, or Blocked, depending on the features enabled for your network. Learn more about what these statuses mean.
  • External advertiser ID
    The ID used in an external system for advertiser identification.
  • Labels
    Labels applied to the advertiser. Labels can be used for either competitive exclusion or ad exclusion
  • Type
    The classification of advertiser. Types include Advertiser, Agency, House agency, or Ad network. Learn about advertiser types.
Child network code
  • Child partner name
    Shows performance broken down by child partner name in Multiple Customer Management (MCM) Manage Inventory.
     
Creative
  • Click-through URL
    The URL to which the visitor will be taken when they click the ad. Click-through URLs are assigned at the creative level. 

    For template based creatives, the Click-through URL attribute can only be populated if a click macro is used in the template.
    Not all creative types support the click-through URL attribute, for example, HTML5, redirect, and backfill creatives.
  • Creative Size
    The Ad Manager creative's "Target ad unit size".
  • Creative SSL scan result
    The result of an Ad Manager scan of the creative. Values include Compliant, Not Compliant or Not Applicable.
  • Creative SSL compliance override
    Whether there's an override, and how the override has been set. Possible values include "Not applicable," "Compliant," and "Not Compliant." Learn more
  • Third-party vendor
    The third-party vendor detected from the ad tag trafficked in the "Code snippet" field of third-party and custom creatives. If the code snippet is not recognized by Google Ad Manager, this value will be "Unknown vendor".
  • Custom fields
    All Ad Manager custom fields defined with a type of "Creative". A maximum of fifteen custom field attributes can be selected per dimension.
When the Creative dimension is used to generate and download a report, the Creative ID column may contain either Creative.id or creative set id (master's Creative.id) if the creative is part of a creative set. Learn more
Inventory share assignment
  • Inventory share type (Beta)
    This attribute, under Inventory share assignment, describes the type of share (pod, stream, impression, or opportunity).
  • Partner ad server (Beta)
    The ad server that will serve ads to the inventory shared based on this assignment.

    Options include:

    • Amazon
    • FreeWheel
    • Google Ad Manager
    • Publica
    • Roku
    • SpringServe
  • Partner target share percent (Beta)
    This attribute, under Inventory share assignment, provides the intended share percent.
Line item
  • Agency
    The agency assigned to the line item.
  • Booked revenue (exclude CPD)
    The total value booked for the line item.
    • For CPC line items, it's calculated as: Booked revenue = Quantity * Rate
    • For CPM line items, it's calculated as: Booked revenue = Quantity * Rate / 1,000
  • Contracted quantity
    The quantity of impressions or clicks contractually sold for this line item. If a sponsorship line item has a "Minimum quantity" defined, that is also included in this field.
  • Cost type
    Values include:
    • CPM: cost-per-thousand impressions.
    • CPC: cost-per-click.
    • CPD: cost-per-day (sponsorship and network line items only).
  • Currency code
    Three letter abbreviation for currency assigned to the order. For example, US Dollars is displayed as USD. 
  • Deal ID
    The Deal ID is a system-generated number used to identify a deal between a buyer and a publisher. Available for Programmatic Direct campaigns and Private Auction deals in Ad Manager campaigns.
  • Delivery indicator 
    Percentage of the impression goal delivered per the percentage of time elapsed. The delivery indicator is always with respect to the current state, not the reporting date range chosen.

    Formula: (% impression goal delivered ∕ % of time elapsed)

    If a sponsorship line item has a "Minimum quantity" defined, that quantity is used as the impression goal in the delivery indicator calculation.

  • Delivery pacing
    The distribution of impressions for a line item. Line items are paced either as fast as possible, frontloaded, or evenly. See definitions of each pacing option
  • Discount
    For sponsorship, standard, bulk, or price priority line items, the amount by which you plan to reduce a line item's cost. This information is for reference only; it doesn't affect a line item's priority based on rate or value CPM.
  • External ID
    The ID used in an external system for line item identification. This field must be enabled for your network. Contact your account manager for details.
  • Frequency cap
    The number of times that a given user can be served a line item within a given time period. A line item may have more than one frequency cap; for example, 5 impressions per day and 1 impression per hour.
  • Goal quantity
    The quantity of impressions, clicks, or days booked for the line item.
    "N/A" may appear in reports if the line item type is changed after the line item enters the ready state.
  • Labels
    Labels applied to the line item. Labels can be used for either competitive exclusion or ad exclusion.
  • Lifetime active view viewable impressions
    The total number of active view viewable impressions counted over the lifetime of the line item. Available for guaranteed line items that have a vCPM goal.
  • Lifetime clicks
    The total amount of clicks counted over the lifetime of the line item.
  • Lifetime impressions
    The total amount of impressions counted over the lifetime of the line item.
  • Line item archival status
    The current status of the line item, either Archived or Unarchived.
  • Line item priority
    The numeric delivery priority value assigned to the line item, which ranges from 1 to 16. 1 is the highest priority and 16 is the lowest.
  • Optimizable
    Whether or not the line item is eligible for optimization.
  • Order PO number
    Displays the user-defined, optional field value in the associated Order settings.
  • Rate
    The amount entered for the line item in the "Rate" field. Reflects currently set value and not previous values if changed.
  • Salesperson
    The salesperson assigned to the line item.
  • Secondary salespeople
    The secondary salespeople assigned to the line item.
  • Secondary traffickers
    The secondary traffickers assigned to the line item.
  • Sponsorship goal (%)
    The percentage of your total impressions that the CPD sponsorship line item should fulfill. 
    A dash (-) may appear in reports if the line item type is changed after the line item enters the ready state.
  • Start date / End date
    The date on which the line item started/stopped delivering. Exported in M/D/YY format. For example, if a line item starts on April 7, the value would be: 4/7/15. For line items with no end date, this value displays the text Unlimited.
  • Start time / End time
    The time at which the line item started/stopped delivering. Exported in YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS[+/-]hh:mm format. For example, if a line item starts on April 7, 2015 13:50 EDT, the value would be: 2015-04-07T13:50:00-04:00. For line items with no end time, this value displays the text Unlimited.

  • Trafficker
    The trafficker assigned to the line item. 
  • Custom fields
    All custom fields defined in Admin with a type of "Line item". A maximum of fifteen custom field attributes can be selected per dimension.
Master and companion creative
  • Master or companion
    Exposes whether the creative is set as Master or Companion within a line item.
Order
  • Agency
    The agency assigned to the order.
  • Agency ID
    The external ID entered for the agency. The external ID is on the agency's settings page, which can be displayed when you view an Ad Manager Company in Admin.
  • Booked CPM / Booked CPC
    The total booked Impressions and clicks for the line items in the order.
  • External ID
    The ID used in an external system for line item identification. This field must be enabled for your network. Contact your account manager for details.
  • Labels
    Labels applied to the order. Labels can be used for either competitive exclusion or ad exclusion.
  • Lifetime clicks
    The total amount of clicks counted over the lifetime of the order.
  • Lifetime impressions
    The total amount of impressions counted over the lifetime of the order.
  • Order PO number
    The ID used in an external system for order identification.
  • Programmatic order
    Displays "TRUE" if an order is associated with a programmatic proposal. Otherwise, displays "FALSE".
  • Salesperson
    The salesperson assigned to the order.
  • Secondary salespeople
    The secondary salespeople assigned to the order.
  • Secondary traffickers
    The secondary traffickers assigned to the order.
  • Start time / End time
    The time at which the line item started/stopped delivering. Exported in YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS[+/-]hh:mm format.

    Example

    For line items with a start date of April 7, 2018 13:50 EDT, the value would be "2018-04-07T13:50:00-04:00".

    For line items with no end time, this value displays the text "Unlimited".

  • Start date /  End date
    The date on which the line item started/stopped delivering. Exported in M/D/YY format.

    Example

    For line items with a start date of April 7, 2018, the value would be "4/7/18."

    For line items with no end date, this value displays the text "Unlimited".

  • Trafficker
    The trafficker assigned to the order.
  • Custom fields
    All custom fields defined in Admin with a type of "Order". A maximum of fifteen custom field attributes can be selected per dimension.
Video
Content
  • ID of the video in the content source
    The ID of the video as created in the content management system from which it was ingested. This ID is a publisher-provided value that a publisher references on ad requests in order to match an ad request to the content being shown.
  • Content source name
    A publisher-provided name for a video clip as setup in a publisher’s content management system.
