Add verified advertisers and brands to your list of companies

Verified advertisers may not be available for your Ad Manager network.

You can add verified advertisers and brands to your list of companies. Only the ones you add to your list of companies are available for use in your network.

The list of verified advertisers is system created and maintained to ensure that each one corresponds to a real-world organization. They are not the same as the companies you add manually to your network. Verified advertisers are mapped between Ad Exchange and Ad Manager.

Verified advertisers can be used to create unified exclusions and run more accurate reports that need to be broken down by advertiser. For instance, you can run a report on revenue between Ad Manager and Ad Exchange broken down by these verified advertisers.

Verified advertiser can also be used to restrict creatives in Private Auctions and Preferred Deals. When a verified advertiser is added to a deal, only creatives from that advertiser are allowed to serve for that deal. Learn more about "Creative restriction".

Brands are “children" that are mapped to parent advertisers, providing you with more granular blocking options. An example of an advertiser/brand relationship might be a food company (the advertiser) and a specific cereal they manufacture (the brand).

If you want to use an advertiser that isn't on the list, contact your account manager and let them know you want the advertiser added.

    • If the cell is blank or there's a verified advertiser that you want to change, continue to the next step.

  5. Click to edit the field next to the advertiser name in the "Verified advertiser" column.
  6. Start typing to search for a verified advertiser from our database. Your selection will be saved automatically.
