Google Ad Manager distributes impression delivery based on how you configure a line item to deliver impressions and Ad Manager pacing rules that attempt to optimize delivery. You can modify line item ad serving behavior by setting up custom curve delivery pacing.
Pacing is the rate at which Ad Manager delivers impressions for a line items.

Set delivery pacing to use a custom curve

You can pace a line item's impression delivery based on a traffic patterns that vary in predictable ways, such as a TV season or a schedule of live events by adjusting the line item delivery settings to pace based on a custom curve.
- Click Delivery, then Orders.
- Click the order containing the line item you'd like to check.
- Click the line item and then click the Settings tab.

In the "Adjust delivery" section, you can see the options to "Deliver impressions".
Once you save a line item with a custom curve, the "Deliver impressions" setting in Ad Manager is overwritten when set to "Evenly" or "Frontloaded". The "As fast as possible" setting is still respected. - Under "Delivery pacing source", select Custom curve and follow the instructions to set up a custom delivery curve.
- Configure any additional settings and click Save.
