Set up conversion measurement using Google Analytics (Beta)

Note: This feature is currently in beta release to a limited group of publishers.

To make sure your cost per install (CPI) campaigns are working properly, you’ll need to set up conversion measurement. You can measure conversions using Google Analytics 4 properties.

First, make sure your AdMob account is linked to your Google Ads account. Then, use the following instructions.

Complete the following steps to set up conversion measurement.

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
  2. Click Campaigns in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Conversions tab.
  4. Click Create conversion action
  5. Select how to measure your app conversions.
    Note: Currently, only app install conversion events from Google Analytics 4 properties can be set up in AdMob. To measure app conversions from other sources, go to Google Ads.

Import conversions from a linked Firebase project or Google Analytics 4 properties (Firebase).

Note: You must first link your Google Analytics 4 property to your Google Ads account.
  1. Check the checkboxes next to the conversion events you’d like to import into AdMob. 
  2. Click Done.
