You can review the status of your ads to ensure they’re serving as expected. The Ad status table displays information about the ads within that campaign. The Ad status column tells you whether your ads are available to be served, if they're paused, or if they're disapproved.
Where to find an ad's status
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Campaigns in the sidebar.
- Select the Ad dimension in the report table sidebar.
- Select the Ad status attribute in the report table sidebar.
Once the Ad dimension is selected, you can also click on the name of the ad to view the ad’s status.
Understand an ad's status
The table below shows the different types of ad statuses and what they mean.
Status | What it means |
---|---|
Enabled |
The ad is available to be served. |
Approved (limited) | The ad complies with Google Ads policies but is limited in where and when it can show. An ad is marked "Approved (limited)" when Google Ads policies (common examples include Alcohol, Gambling, Healthcare, and Trademarks) prevent certain types of ads from showing in certain regions, to certain ages, or on certain devices. Learn more about this status. |
Paused | The ad is not available to be served because the ad has been paused. |
Error | The ad is not available to be served because the ad has been disapproved. Ads within a campaign must conform to Google platform policies. Learn more about Google Ads policies. |
