About the app-ads.txt file

Create an app-ads.txt file to let advertisers know which ad sources are authorized to sell ad inventory #authorizedsellers #apps-ads.txt

Authorized Sellers for Apps, or app-ads.txt, is an IAB Tech Lab initiative that helps ensure your app ad inventory is only sold through channels you’ve identified as authorized.

Create an app-ads.txt file to give you more control over who’s allowed to sell ads on your app and help prevent counterfeit inventory from being presented to advertisers.

The app-ads.txt files are publicly available and crawlable by exchanges, supply-side platforms (SSP), as well as other buyers and third-party vendors.

Authorized Sellers for Apps (app-ads.txt) is an extension to the Authorized Digital Sellers (ads.txt) standard, originally designed for protecting web ad inventory. It extends compatibility to support ads shown in mobile apps.

To prevent a significant loss in ad revenue, you'll need to implement an app-ads.txt file.
