If you're creating display or video ads for an advertiser who uses Campaign Manager 360, set up an account link so that you can export projects directly to their Campaign Manager 360 advertiser.
How it works
After you set up an account link, you can export creative projects to a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. When you export display projects, they'll be imported as creatives in the advertiser's creative list. Video projects will be imported as creative projects in Campaign Manager 360.
Campaign Manager 360 users can't change the creative content, template, or variants of the exported creative in Campaign Manager 360. But they can change the creative name, targeting rules, and landing pages. Any changes made to the creative in Campaign Manager 360 will not affect the creative project in Ads Creative Studio.
Keep in mind that:
- Linking accounts will not give the Ads Creative Studio account users access to view or edit the Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. Likewise, users of the linked Campaign Manager 360 advertiser will not be able to add, edit, or delete any projects in Ads Creative Studio.
- Each time you export a project from Ads Creative Studio, it's added as a new project in the linked account. If you change a project after you export it, export it again. Then let your Campaign Manager 360 contact know so they can swap in the updated project in their campaigns.
Link a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser to your account
- Before you get started, ask your Campaign Manager 360 contact for the advertiser ID of the advertiser where you want to export your creative projects and the email address to send the link request to. Note: Only Campaign Manager 360 users with advertiser management permissions for the advertiser will be able to approve the request.
- Sign in to Ads Creative Studio.
- Click Settings Linked accounts.
- Next to Campaign Manager 360, click Details if you haven't linked any accounts yet. If you've already linked an account, click Manage & link.
- Click Link advertiser.
- Enter the Campaign Manager 360 advertiser ID and the email address to send the link request to.
- Click Send.
An email will be sent with a request to approve the link. After the link is approved by a Campaign Manager 360 user, you can start exporting projects.
Unlink a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser from your account
- Sign in to Ads Creative Studio.
- Click Settings Linked accounts.
- Next to Campaign Manager 360, click Manage.
- Find the advertiser you want to unlink and click Unlink.
Cancel a link request
If you sent a link request by mistake or no longer want to link an advertiser, you can cancel your request.
- Sign in to Ads Creative Studio.
- Click Settings Linked accounts.
- Click Request sent.
- Find the pending link request you want to cancel. Under Actions, click Cancel request.
The request will be canceled and the Campaign Manager 360 user will no longer be able to approve it.
