Organize assets in the asset library

To organize your assets in the asset library, you can create folders to make assets easier to find.

Create a folder

  1. Sign in to Ads Creative Studio.
  2. Click Asset library.
  3. (Optional) To create a new folder inside an existing folder, navigate to that folder.
  4. Click New, then Folder.
  5. Enter a name for the new folder. Folder name requirements:
    • 1–100 characters long
    • Can only include numbers, letters (in any language), spaces, hyphens, underscores, square brackets, curly brackets, and periods
    • Can only start with a letter or number
    • Can't end with a space
    • Folders in the same folder can't have the same name
  6. Click Create.

Move an asset

Currently, you can't move assets or folders to other folders. This feature will be added in the coming months.

Instead:

  • Upload the same asset to the other folder
  • Create a new folder in the other folder and upload assets again

Remove assets

You can remove any assets you've uploaded to the asset library. When you remove an asset, it's only removed from the asset library. The asset won't be removed from:

  • Projects it's used in
  • Reports for ads it's serving in
  • Other ad platforms it's been exported to

If you remove assets by mistake, you'll have 15 seconds to undo the removal and restore the asset. If you choose not to restore it, you can upload the asset again.

You can remove assets from either cards or table view. You can also remove an asset while you're previewing it.

Note: Currently, you can't remove folders. This feature will be added in the coming months.
