Track page performance with URL channels

URL channels allow you to track the performance of specific pages or directories on your site. You can create a maximum of 500 URL channels for each of your AdSense products.

If you want to view performance data on your domains and subdomains, you can access the Sites report on the Reports page in your account.

Supported URLs

Make sure that you enter valid URLs when you create a URL channel. URLs can be up to 256 characters long and may contain a path (example.com/path), relative path (example.com/path/..), fragment (example.com/path#fragment), or query (example.com/path?q=bar).

Create a URL channel

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click Reports.
  3. Click Settings Settings.
  4. Click URL channels.
  5. Select your AdSense product. For example, "Content", "Search", etc. Note that not all AdSense products support URL channels.
  6. Click Add channel.
  7. Enter the full URLs of the directories (e.g., example.com/directory) and pages (e.g., example.com/page.html) you want to track, one per line.
  8. Click Add.

    Your URL channel is now active.

View the report for a URL channel

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click Reports.
  3. Click Settings Settings.
  4. Click URL channels.
  5. In the table, click View report View report next to your URL channel.
  6. (Optional) You can also add dimensions to segment your channel data.
    Tip: You can also combine the URL channels report with the countries dimension.
