Ad intents is an intent-driven search format that places links and anchors showing organic search results with AdSense for Search ads into existing text and pages on your site related to your content.
How it works
Ad intents works by scanning your pages for opportunities to help your users find something that they might be looking for. Based on your content and what your users may be interested in, ad intents automatically:
- converts existing text on your page into links. Learn more about ad intent links.
- places anchors that appear at the bottom of your page. Learn more about ad intent anchors.
- places chips at the end of paragraphs on your page. Learn more about ad intent chips.
When a user interacts with a link, anchor or chip, it opens a dialogue that shows users relevant, organic search results with search ads and can help to increase your earnings. When a user closes the dialogue, they remain on the same page on your site.
How you earn from ad intents
You get paid if a user clicks on any of the search ads in the dialogue. Learn more about the revenue share for ad intents.
