In advance of the previously announced update to the Google Ads Government documents and official services policy and effective immediately, a pilot will be conducted with a group of advertisers that are authorized by the state of California to process vehicle registration work on its behalf. These advertisers may run ads promoting those services for which they are authorized.
When the update to the Government documents and official services policy takes effect in late March, these government authorized entities will continue to be permitted to advertise government documents and official services, provided they meet our certification requirements and complete the required certification process.
