The Google Ads policy on financial services will change in January 2013. The policy is being updated to require upfront disclosure of fees and to clarify when third-party accreditation is required. In addition, we will require short-term loan advertisers to prominently disclose the APR and implications of non-payment on the landing page.
This change will affect all countries. We made this decision to protect our users and provide the best experience. After the new policy goes into effect, the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
