In October 2017, as part of a beta program, Google Ads will introduce verification checks for locksmiths (including aggregators of locksmith services) targeting ads in 34 additional U.S. states. After the new policy goes into effect, and for as long as the beta program is running, the Other restricted businesses policy will be updated to reflect this change.
Advertisers who target locksmith service ads to any of the following states will be affected by this change:
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming
