Share images of your screen

If you'd like to take a snapshot of what you're viewing on your computer screen (screenshot), it's a simple process that can even help the Google Ads team troubleshoot your questions if you're having issues with your account. Here's what you do:

Google Chrome

  1. Visit the Google Chrome store and add to Chrome the Save to Google Drive Chrome extension.
  2. Click the Extensions icon on your Google Chrome toolbar.
  3. Click the pin icon next to Save to Google Drive to add it as a shortcut to your toolbar for easy access.
  4. To save an image of a web page, click the Save to Google Drive icon on your Google Chrome toolbar. This will save a PNG image file of the web page to your Google Drive.
  5. If you want to save a copy of a website's image to your local drive, you can download them directly from your Google Drive.

Microsoft Windows

  1. Bring the browser window to be captured to the foreground.
  2. Hold the "Windows" key and press the "Print Screen" key (often just labeled "Prt Sc") on your keyboard.
  3. Open an image editing application such as Paint from Search.
  4. Open File Explorer > Screenshots folder.
  5. Save the image as a JPEG (.JPG) file.

macOS

  1. Bring the browser window to be captured to the foreground.
  2. Press Command+Shift+3. This will save the image to your desktop as a .PNG file.

You can then keep the image for reference or attach it to an email message.
