Autofill with Google lets you automatically fill-in, save and manage credentials, payment methods, and other personal information to your Google Account. For example, when you use an Android shopping app, Autofill with Google can help you fill in information like your email, username, passwords, addresses, and payment information with just a single tap.

- Some autofill functionality may not work on certain apps.
- Some autofill functionality works only on Android 9 and up. Learn how to check and update your Android version.
Control your preferences for Autofill with Google
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Search for

. - In the search results, tap Autofill service from Google.
Tip: You can choose to save your Autofill information to your Google Account and update your preferences.

How Google Play services handles your data for Autofill with Google
Autofill with Google may collect and share certain information and use certain permissions to support Autofill-related functionality on your device, like the examples described above.
Permission useTo support certain features, such as to verify your phone number, autofill your information, and keep your payment information secure, Google Play services may periodically access your phone information.
To support Autofill features, Google Play services may also collect and store the following data:
- Personal and payment data like your full name, email, address, passwords, phone number, and payment information is collected in-order to autofill your information wherever needed on the forms.
- Device and account identifiers like your apps and app activity, in order to correlate your Google Account across devices.
