Change your search engine

On a Pixel device

Important: The instructions below only apply to the European Economic Area (EEA).

1. On your Pixel phone or tablet, touch and hold the search bar on your home screen.
2. Tap Settings Search engine.
3. Select the search engine app that you want to use.

On an Android device

1. On your Android device, touch and hold an empty space on your home screen.
2. Tap Widgets .
3. Select your preferred search engine app.
4. Touch and hold, then drag the search engine to your home screen.
   • If you don't find the search engine that you want to use, install it from the Play Store.

On an Android device through Chrome settings

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Tap More Settings .
3. Under 'Basics', select Search engine.
4. Select the search engine that you want to use in Chrome.
