If you can’t find your apps in Android Auto’s App Launcher, they might be temporarily disabled. To save your battery life, Samsung phones temporarily disable apps that you haven’t used for a while. These apps might still appear on your phone, but won’t appear in your Android Auto App Launcher until you re-enable them. You can also manually turn off the auto-disable settings for each app.
Restore an unused app
- On your phone, open the app to re-enable it.
- The next time that you open your App Launcher , you should see your app.
Change your settings
- On your phone, navigate to your battery settings.
- Turn off Auto-disable unused apps or Put unused apps to sleep.
If you can’t find your battery settings, get help from your device manufacturer.
