Turning Applied Digital Skills ON/OFF as an Additional Service
Applied Digital Skills is an Additional Service under Google Workspace, and administrators can control whether Applied Digital Skills is turned on or off. To turn Applied Digital Skills on or off as an additional service, domain administrators should visit their Admin Console as described here.
When Applied Digital Skills is ON
Users will be able to:
- Access https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/login and log in with their Google Workspace account.
- Access https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/dashboard and the teacher- or student-specific pages linked from this page. These pages provide the ability to track progress, view projects, connect with Google Classroom, and more. For more details on this, see an overview of Classes.
When Applied Digital Skills is OFF
- Users are able to access publicly available content which includes the Applied Digital Skills homepage, all Applied Digital Skills curriculum, the resources page, and more.
- Users are shown as logged out of Applied Digital Skills (i.e., users will see the Sign In button).
- Users might not be able to open Applied Digital Skills project links due to your school's administrator/technology settings.
Things to note when Applied Digital Skills is OFF:
- Users who attempt to log in to https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com will see an error message directing them to contact their domain administrators.
Users who are not logged in cannot access https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/dashboard and the teacher- or student-specific pages linked from this page.
