Our growing curriculum for adult learners — whether in college, pursuing a high school equivalency degree, or building up digital skills for the workplace — is based on a basic understanding of internet skills.
This includes knowing how to use a web browser and searching the internet. Adult students can use the Basic Digital Skills Guide to review or develop these prerequisite skills.
- Open the Basic Digital Skills Guide.
- Print the guide in color or black and white.
- Distribute to students before their first class.
- Students can read the guide and complete the practice exercises in about 45 minutes.
Visit the Applied Digital Skills lessons page to see the full curriculum library. In each lesson, students use G Suite for Education, including tools such as Gmail, Docs and Slides, to create projects.
