Applied Digital Skills aims to be accessible for all users, which means we have taken efforts to make the curriculum easier to use without the need for specialized hardware. Each of the following options explain how Applied Digital Skills lessons can be used with accessibility tools and how Applied Digital Skills includes accessibility options in our lessons.
You can use Applied Digital Skills with current versions of the following browsers and screen readers:

All of our videos include closed captions and transcripts.
To access closed captions for a video:
- From the video page of a lesson, click the three dot menu in the bottom right corner of the video player.
- Select Captions to turn on closed captions.
To access the transcript for a video:
- From the video page of a lesson, click the arrow next to Transcript, directly below the video player on the left side.
Keyboard-only navigation is supported for users who can’t use a mouse.
You can also accommodate low-vision users by adjusting contrast settings
To access these settings:
- Navigate to your Applied Digital Skills profile.
- Select Manage (located under your avatar and username/email at the top of your profile).
- You will be redirected to your Google Account homepage. Select Privacy & Personalization

Voice Dubbing
You can watch our videos dubbed in Spanish.
To access the language options for a video:
- From the video page of a lesson, click the language selector at the bottom of the video player.
- Select Spanish to change the language
Note: If a specific video is not dubbed, it’s not an error - it might take some time before a new video is dubbed and uploaded to the site.
