Search images with Google Assistant

You can use Lens on Android globally to search for what you see in photos or videos across websites and apps, without having to leave the app.

Requirements: Android 10 and later with Assistant enabled.

To search for an image from a website or app:

1. Open the app or the content that you would like to search for.
2. Invoke Assistant over the top of the app content.
3. Tap Search screen.

To turn the feature on or off, on Pixel 4 and newer:

1. Open Assistant settings
2. Tap Screen context  Use screen context.
3. Turn 'Use screenshot' on or off.

To turn the feature on or off, on Android phones and tablets:

1. Open Assistant settings
2. Tap General or Digital assistant app  Use screen context.
3. Turn 'Use screenshot' and 'Use text from screen' on or off.
