Inventory matches without signal
There are several reasons why inventory matches may not have a signal present, these include:
- Publisher doesn't allow the bidder for secure signals. As a bidder, reach out to this publisher and ask them to share the secure signals.
- Publisher doesn't support signals. As a bidder, help the publisher understand how to enable and allow secure signals.
- Signal has not been generated. Work directly with the publisher to troubleshoot why this is happening.
Google doesn't have visibility on why a certain signal is not being generated.
-
Signal has been generated, but is empty. Work directly with the publisher to troubleshoot on why this is happening.
Inventory matches without signal enabled
Inventory matches with a signal that has not been enabled are caused by a signal not being allowed by the bidder.
Only signals you subscribe to will be sent to you when they are available.
- You choose which signals you subscribe to in Bidder Settings RTB Settings
- Scroll to "Secure Signals," click Supported secure signals to add or remove secure signals.
- Click Save.
Inventory matches with signal suppressed
Inventory matches with a suppressed signal are caused by the signal that has been deprioritized by the bidder.
Signal deprioritized by bidder
EEA only. The filtered secure signal was deprioritized by the bidder toggling the "Prefer hosted match data over secure signals" switch. You don’t need to do anything. The cookie was sent instead of the secure signal per your preferences.
