Google made some updates to cookie matching and you may need to update your cookie matching integration.
Google applies the following treatment for cookie match requests originating in California, Virginia, Connecticut, Colorado, and Utah:
- Google must host the cookie match table
- Google will no longer send
google_gidin the cookie match requests
In 2024, Google will also apply this behavior to Florida, Texas, Oregon, and Montana.
The announced policy changes to cross-context behavioral advertising do not impact cookie matching. Note that the use of cookie matching data in an ad serving product is subject to that product's terms.
