Your books in the Partner Center will still display Russia (RU) in the list of live countries, even though books cannot be purchased there.

Can users still download samples and content that costs $0 from Google Play?

Yes, users in Russia will still be able to preview samples and download ebooks and audiobooks of no charge from the Google Play Store.

Can users still access the content that has already been downloaded or purchased?

Yes.

What happens when a user tries to buy content?

When a user in Russia attempts to buy an ebook or audiobook through Google Play’s billing system, an error message will appear and no transaction will be processed.

What happens to existing user pre-orders?

Pre-orders that have been placed by users in Russia will not be fulfilled if the book officially goes on sale during this pause.

Can I publish new ebooks and audiobooks during this pause?
