Artificial intelligence (AI) for menus
- To make it easier for small and medium businesses (SMB), Google’s AI can now help you update your Business Profile. Restaurants can take a photo of their menu and Google’s AI converts it into a full menu.
- The generated menu’s complete with item names, descriptions, and prices. It’ll be highlighted on your Business Profile under the "Menu" section. Don’t forget to check for the accuracy of your menu.
- This initial version’s only for photos with single-page menus. Learn more about menu editor.
Menu Freshness Indicator
The Menu Freshness Indicator shows when the menu was last updated in your Business Profile. This update’s intended to help your customers know if your restaurant's menu’s been updated in the last 2 months.
Rich Menu Experience on desktop
It’s now easier for businesses who edit their menu on desktop. Your customers can now view:
- Menu highlights
- Dish photos and reviews
- Vegetarian labels
- Structured menu
Services Editor’s now available on iPhone
On your iPhone or iPad, you can now:
- Add new services
- Adjust prices
- Upload photos
- Write detailed descriptions
To update your services:
- Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.
- Tap Edit Profile.
