Add another account to Google Calendar

In Google Calendar, you can add more than one account.

Add an account

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile photo and then Add another account.
  3. To finish the sign-in process, follow the instructions on the screen.

Turn off auto-sync for an account

Important:

  • To save data and battery life, you can limit your sync to happen only while you use the app. For example, when you open your calendar or create and change events.
  • If you close the Calendar app while a sync’s in progress, it might take some time before the sync stops.
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile photo and then Manage accounts on this device.
  3. Select an account.
  4. Tap Account sync.
  5. Turn off Calendar.

Remove an account

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile photo and then Manage accounts on this device.
  3. Select an account.
  4. Tap Remove account.
