Campaign Manager 360 and Display & Video 360
Floodlight activity geo non-personalized advertising deprecation
Estimated April 2024
Floodlight activity-level control allowing users to disable personalization in selected geographies will be deprecated. These Floodlight activities will automatically switch to disable ads personalization in all geographies. Users will still be able to control ads personalization at the Floodlight configuration-level.
Floodlight activity legacy tag deprecation
Estimated July 2024
The option to generate new Image and iFrame versions of Floodlight tags will be removed. This change will take effect across Campaign Manager 360, bulk tools, and API. Processing conversion events coming from Floodlight tags that have the Image or iFrame format will still be supported.
Floodlight legacy archived status cleanup
Estimated April 2024
Floodlight activities archived prior to May 2019 are archived but continue to collect events. These activities will transition to "Disabled & Archived" and will stop processing events.
Campaign Manager 360 click trackers in transparency mode
Campaign Manager 360 customers who use Campaign Manager 360 click trackers or tracking ads (to track clicks in Google Ads and YouTube in Display & Video 360) will need to enable transparency mode, otherwise their ads will be disapproved of by the click tracker transparency policy.
Enforcement will apply to all customers who use a click tracker for the first time after September 12, 2023. Customers using click trackers before this date are not affected but transparency mode is a best practice that all advertisers should consider implementing as they update their tags or create new campaigns.
