Google Drive Syncing is a service where files, potentially created on different devices, are downloaded from the cloud and/or uploaded to the cloud from a device’s hard drive, via Google Drive. After syncing, the files on a device match those in the cloud, to allow easy and convenient storage, access, and editing.
