Chrome Remote Desktop

Data processor mode is currently only available for users on managed ChromeOS devices in these countries.

ChromeOS users and IT administrators can access ChromeOS devices (including kiosks) remotely using Chrome Remote Desktop. This is done by registering as a user or administrator on the support page or through the Chrome Remote Desktop app. This article is intended for administrators and end users who want to learn about what data is collected by Chrome Remote Desktop and how it’s processed by Google.

To enable user-initiated remote support connections users must enable the RemoteAccessHostAllowRemoteSupportConnections policy. For more information, see Access another computer with Chrome Remote Desktop.

To enable admin-initiated remote support connections admins must enable the RemoteAccessHostAllowEnterpriseRemoteSupportConnections policy. For more information on admin-initiated connections, see Access ChromeOS devices remotely.

Data processed by this service

Chrome Remote Desktop collects and sends data to Google to monitor session data and usage statistics for diagnostic purposes.
