You can create calendar events without the need to leave Chrome.
Use advanced features on your calendar app
To use advanced features, you must download the Google Calendar app and sign in to your Google Account.
Add events from a site to your Google Calendar
- Important:
- You can select which calendar (personal or family) to save an event to.
- You can add features to the event like contacts or specific dates and times.
- On a website, touch and hold the date.
- Tap Add to Google Calendar.
- At the top, add or edit the event details.
- Optional: At the bottom, tap Open Google Calendar… to add people, locations and more to the event.
- At the top right, tap Save.
- If your event is saved, a confirmation appears.
Add events from a site to Apple Calendar
You can also choose to add events to the Apple Calendar, but you won't have the option to add people, locations and more to the event.
- On a website, touch and hold the date.
- Tap Add to Apple Calendar.
- At the top, add or edit the event details.
- At the top right, tap Add.
- If your event is saved, a confirmation appears.
