- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top, in the address bar, enter your search.
- Select a result or press Enter.
Tip: As you enter your search, you may get suggestions based on your web and app activity. You can delete suggestions from your search history or hide sections of suggestions based on your activity when they appear. Learn more about your activity.

You can find a specific word or phrase on a web page on your computer.
- On your computer, open a page in Chrome.
- At the top right, select More Find and edit Find....
- In the search window, enter your search term.
- Press Enter to search the page.
- Matches are highlighted in yellow. In the scrollbar on the right, yellow markers show where the matches are located on the page.
Tip: You can also use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + f (Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS) or + f (Mac) to find a word or phrase quickly.
