Learn what each security symbol means
These symbols indicate whether Chrome has or hasn't established a secure and private connection with a site.
Default (secure)The information that you send or receive through the site is private.
Even on secure sites, be careful with your personal information. To make sure that you're on the correct site, check the site name in the address bar.
