Choose your Chromebook owner
A Chromebook owner is the primary user who has control over managing the Chromebook and its settings.
- For a personal Chromebook, the owner is usually the person who purchased the device and uses it the most.
- For a shared Chromebook, the owner could be a parent, family member, or teacher who can manage the device and its users.
- For a managed Chromebook, the owner is typically the organization, like school or work, that provided the device. Check if your Chromebook is managed.
