Set up casting from Chrome
- If you're not already running Chrome, download Chrome.
- Make sure you're running the latest version of Chrome. If you're having trouble, here's how to get Chrome updates.
- It's recommended that you pin the Cast button to your Chrome toolbar, although not required.
- Make sure your laptop / computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast Audio device.
Casting audio from Chrome
There are several ways to cast content from Chrome. Option 1. From the Cast button- If you’ve pinned the Cast button to your toolbar, click the Cast button in the Chrome toolbar in the upper right corner of your browser.
- Choose the device you want to cast to.
For sites like youtube.com:
Option 3. From Chrome Setting menu
- Open up a Chromecast-enabled site like youtube.com.
- Click the Cast button in the bottom right corner of the video player. Note: The Cast button may be in a different location on some Chromecast-enabled sites.

- Navigate to the Chrome Settings menu in the Chrome toolbar in the upper right corner of your browser > click "Cast..".
