Why should I migrate my billing account?

To better serve our Google Cloud Platform customers in Indonesia, we are transitioning from USD to local currency payments and migrating your Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account(s) to PT Google Cloud Indonesia. For Indonesian customers to be billed in Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR), customers need to migrate their billing accounts using the Billing account migration page. If you’re a business customer, we will collect your NPWP ID and other tax related information. You might have to contact your Billing admin to complete this process.

Note: If you pay by monthly invoicing, You will not be able to use the self-migration link above. Instead, you need to use this form to provide us with your tax ID immediately.
Will I be able to pay in USD after migration?

No. Going forward all customers with a billing account address in Indonesia will be billed in Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR), regardless of the GCP region being used.

What is changing for my billing account?

You will be billed in Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR). When you complete the migration process using the Billing account migration page, if you’re a business customer, we will collect and store your NPWP ID and other tax related information.

Your future invoices will be issued by PT Google Cloud Indonesia. If you’re an invoicing customer, your remittance information on your invoice will change. Note that you will also be charged 10% in local taxes in compliance with local regulations.

Where can I see my pricing in IDR?

When Google charges in local currency, we convert prices into applicable local currency pursuant to the conversion rates published by leading financial institutions. See your GCP pricing in IDR on the Google Cloud Platform SKUs page.

Why do I need to provide my NPWP ID?

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services are transitioning from Google Asia Pacific Pte Ltd to PT Google Cloud Indonesia. To comply with local laws and accordingly charge the applicable tax correctly on the invoice, Google is required to collect your NPWP ID and other tax related information if you’re a business customer.

What if I don’t have an NPWP ID?

If you’re an individual and you don’t have a NPWP ID, you can select Individual during the migration steps. Entering an NPWP ID is optional for individuals.

How do I recover, if I didn’t migrate my billing account in time?

Within a short period of time you can recover access to your GCP services by creating a new billing account and self-migrating your projects using the following process:

  1. Create a new billing account with valid payment method and Tax ID (NPWP), if applicable.
  2. Change the billing account for your projects to the new billing account.
How do I see my old invoices and billing reports?

Once your old billing account is closed you can gain access to your previous billing reports and invoices by visiting Cloud Billing, selecting “Show active accounts only” and changing it to “Show all accounts”. Your old account and associated reports and invoices are then accessible via the old billing account.

If you have any issues please contact Cloud Billing Support.
