Here are some simple ways you can customize Google Chrome to get to Google Cloud Search quickly.
If you don't use Chrome, go to the "Help" section of your browser and look for information about changing your browser’s settings.
Bookmark the Cloud Search homepage
Create a bookmark in your browser so you can easily get to Cloud Search from your bookmark menu.
- Open Chrome.

Sign in to Cloud Search at cloudsearch.google.com.
If you can't sign in, your account doesn't have Cloud Search. Learn more
- Add a bookmark for the page.
- Turn on the bookmarks bar.
- Click the Cloud Search logo to go directly to the Cloud Search homepage.
Make Cloud Search my default search engine
- Open Chrome.
- Go to Settings Search Manage search engines.
- In the list, next to cloudsearch.google.com, click Make default.
- If Cloud Search is not already in the list, add it using the steps for Create a keyword shortcut under Use Cloud Search from the address bar.
Use Cloud Search from the address bar
You can search directly from your address bar without modifying your default search page.
Create a keyword shortcut
- Open Chrome.
- Go to Settings Search Manage search engines.
- Scroll to the bottom of the window.
- Enter this information:
- New search engine name:
Cloud Search
- Keyword:
cs
- URL:
https://cloudsearch.google.com/cloudsearch?q=%s
- New search engine name:
- Click Done.
- Do a search:
- In the address bar, type cs and press Tab.
- Type your search query.
Make Cloud Search my homepage or startup page
