You can import your contacts into Google Contacts from other sources.
You can add all your contacts to a Google Account. After you import, the contacts are still in your other account.
From a SIM cardIf you have a SIM card with contacts saved on it, you can import them to your Google Account:
- Insert the SIM card into your device.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
- At the bottom, tap Organize Manage SIM.
- Select the list of contacts you wish to import and the account that they should be imported to.
- Tap Import.
If you’ve saved contacts to a VCF file, you can import them to your Google Account:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
- At the bottom, tap Organize Import from file.
- If you have multiple accounts on your device, pick the account where you want to save the contacts.
- Find and select the VCF file to import.
