The Google Arts & Culture Chrome extension generates an image from the Google Arts & Culture platform as a background image in Chrome. If you publish your assets with the Chrome extension option, users with the extension installed can discover your artwork when they open a new tab on their browser.
To showcase your cultural content on the Chrome extension, you simply need to select the corresponding publishing option for one or more of your items.
To select the "Chrome extension" publishing option for your items:
- Open the
Items manager
- Select any items you would like to make eligible for display
- Click the Publish control that appears above the items list
- Choose the "Chrome extension" option
- Click Apply
