Follow the steps to use your Daydream headset and controller.
To use Daydream, you need:
- A Daydream-enabled phone
- A compatible headset
- The Daydream app
Open the Daydream app
Important: The Daydream VR app is no longer supported by Google and may not work properly on some devices running Android 11 or later. Many of the third-party apps and experiences within Daydream may still be available as standalone apps in the Google Play store. We don’t expect users to lose any account information or functionality for third-party apps as a result of Daydream no longer being supported by Google. Find information about Google support for Daydream.
- Open the Daydream app.
- To pair your headset and controller, follow the setup instructions.
- After you finish setup, you'll go through a short Welcome tutorial.
Enter a form of payment and select a PIN
You’ll be asked to create a Google PIN and add a form of payment during setup. A form of payment is required to use Daydream, but you won't be charged unless you make a purchase. Learn how to add a payment method.
