Gmail line items will be archived
The ability to create new line items will be removed April 3, 2023. Gmail line items will stop serving and will be archived on May 1, 2023. Users can continue to run Native creatives on non-Gmail inventory or can access Gmail inventory via Discovery campaigns in Google Ads.
AMP HTML creatives will be removed
AMP HTML creatives are specifically designed to run on AMP webpages. The option to create new AMP HTML creatives will be removed April 3, 2023 and existing creatives will stop serving on May 1, 2023. Moving forward, ensure HTML5 creatives don’t include AMP-specific code.
Templated App Install creatives will be removed
Users will no longer be able to create or run the Templated App Install creative types. This includes the App install banner, App install interstitial, and App install with video formats. The option to create new creatives of this type will be removed on April 3, 2023 and existing creatives will stop serving on May 1, 2023. Consider replacing impacted creatives with custom app install creatives.
Native App Install creatives will be removed
The ability to create new Native App Install creatives will be removed on April 3, 2023 and creatives will stop serving on June 9, 2023. As an alternative, create standard Native display creatives with app install-specific assets.
Flipbook creatives will be removed
The ability to create new Flipbook creatives will be removed April 3, 2023 and existing creatives will stop serving on May 1, 2023. Consider other custom creative templates accessible via Google Web Designer or Ads Creatives Studio.
Removed creative types will no longer be visible starting in June
Beginning the week of June 12, existing creatives of the impacted types will be removed from the UI and no longer visible. They will continue to surface in reporting with historical data.
