You can create and manage tabs in Google Docs to better organize your documents.
With tabs, from the left panel, you can:
- Visualize the document structure anytime.
- Use the tabs as sections of a document for easier navigation.
Find & navigate tabs on your Android device
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a document in the Google Docs app .
- At the bottom of your document, you can find the current tab.
- To find other tabs, you can either:
- Find the list of tabs: To find the list of tabs, tap the bottom tab navigation bar.
- Move between tabs: To move between tabs, tap the arrows .
