Feature availability
- This feature is available through our early access testing program, Google Workspace Labs, which is an invite only program for users to try new AI features.
- To check if you have access to Workspace Labs features, open Google Vids. A window to help you start creating in Vids will appear if you have access. Learn where you can use Workspace Labs features.
- For users with access to Workspace Labs, note that new features for Vids are rolling out gradually, and may not be available to you yet.
You can use a presentation in Google Slides to create a video in Google Vids. You can also use a video in Vids to create a presentation in Slides.

- In Slides, copy the slides you want to use in your video.
- In Vids, paste the slides into the timeline of a new or available video.
Tip: When you paste your presentation into Vids, the animations from Slides might not work as intended. You might need to make additional edits.
