With Google Earth you can find the longitude, latitude, altitude, and when images were taken of places from around the world.

This feature isn't currently available on Android devices.

Tip: If you move the globe, the coordinates update. The coordinates describe the location at the center of your screen.

You can use the coordinates of a place to find its location on Google Earth.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Earth app .
At the top, tap Search .
Type the coordinates using one of these formats:
- Decimal Degrees: 42.7°, -100.2°
- Degrees, Minutes, Seconds: 64°25'12.07"N, 100°10'15.24"W

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Earth app .
Tap Menu Settings .
Go to "Latitude/Longitude formatting."
In the dropdown menu, choose Degrees, Minutes, Seconds, or Decimal.

Search for a place, or adjust Google Earth until you find the correct location.
Press and hold the location to reveal the altitude. You can also get latitude and longitude coordinates, and use the Measure Tool to show the distance from that location.

Tip: The altitude displayed in the bottom right describes the camera position, not elevation.
