You can show custom camera views on a placemark to capture specific camera angles and imagery. To display the custom camera view, double-click or fly-to-the feature.
Add a Placemark from Street View
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- Open or create a new Earth project.
- Click Pegman .
- To enter Street View, select a location.
- To add a placemark to your project, at the bottom left, click Capture this view .
Add a custom camera view
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- Open or create a new Earth project.
- To get your desired view, zoom or tilt.
- To save the view, add a placemark.
Edit a custom camera view
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- Open a project.
- To view details, select a feature.
- To get your desired view, zoom or tilt.
- Click Edit .
- Open More Settings.
- Click Capture this view .
Turn on 3D imagery
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- Click Layers .
- Turn on 3D Buildings.
Turn on map mode
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- Click Layers .
- Under “Basemap,” click Map.
Tips:
- To find an abstract 3D representation, turn on 3D buildings at the same time.
- Map mode doesn’t include terrain elevation.
