Manage Classroom integrations

This article is for students and teachers.

You can use Google Workspace Marketplace and Third-party apps and services that interact with Classroom to:

  • Create an end-to-end experience in Classroom
  • Save time for educators
  • Simplify the digital classroom experience for students

Set up Classroom integrations

There are 2 ways to set up Classroom integrations:

Google Workspace Marketplace

  1. Open Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Search for apps:
  3. Click Install.

Third-party apps and services

  1. Go to the third-party website.
  2. Follow the instructions for installing the integration.
  3. Open the integration in Classroom.

Manage third-party apps & services

Manage your third-party apps and services in your Google Account settings.

  1. Sign in to your Google Account.
  2. Click Data & privacy.
  3. Select Apps & services.
    • To remove an app or service, click Remove.
    • To manage your permissions, click on the app or service and then click Permissions. You can choose which permissions you want to give the app or service.

Troubleshoot Classroom integration issues

Teachers and students may run into Classroom integration issues if:

  • An administrator hasn’t configured the app with app access controls.
  • Google Workspace Marketplace installation settings are set to “Allow users to install and run only selected apps from the Marketplace,” and an admin hasn't allowlisted the Google Workspace Marketplace app.
  • Google Workspace Marketplace installation settings are set to “Allow none.”
